Wi-Fi CONNECTION
We offer complimentary high-speed internet access throughout the property. To connect, select the network The Vines Resort and Spa and use the password ‘recuerdo’, which means memories). For faster access within your private villa, the unique password is provided on a card located near the phone in the living room.
Please note that in the event of a power outage, we have generators in place. However, there may be a brief delay of a few minutes for them to connect.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Airport
The Mendoza International Airport (MDZ) is located approximately an hour and a half from The Vines Resort & Spa. Private transportation can be arranged upon request. For assistance, please contact the front desk by dialing “0”. Or via WhatsApp at the following number:
Transportation Service
We can secure transportation throughout the region, for winetasting, a scenic drive through the Andes or simply to get to the airport. To arrange a transfer with our trusted drivers, please contact the front desk. You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled trip. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged the full cost of the service.
Payment Methods
The Vines accepts payments in cash or by credit card: MasterCard, Visa and American Express.
Plug Adapters
At the resort, all of our electrical outlets are 220 volts and use Type C and Type I plugs . Please make sure that anything you plug in is compatible. If needed, plug adapters are available upon request.
Health and Wellbeing
If you have a medical emergency, please call the front desk, and we’ll immediately arrange for an ambulance. For minor issues, while Argentine law prevents us from dispensing medications, we’re happy to assist with guidance and can direct you to the nearest pharmacy.
Audio and Visual System
Your Villa is equipped with Samsung SMART televisions, DirecTV HD satellite programming and AppleTV multimedia players.
TV Instructions
DirecTV:
To use DirecTV, turn on your television and make sure the input channel is set to HDMI-1. Use the “SOURCE” button on the black Samsung remote, or the “INPUT” button on the white DirecTV remote, to switch the input channel to HDMI-1. The white DirecTV remote can be used to navigate the program guide, select channels and adjust the TV volume.

Apple TV:
To use AppleTV, turn on your TV and make sure the input channel is set to HDMI-2. Use the “SOURCE” button on the black Samsung remote control to change the input channel to HDMI-2. You can use the silver AppleTV remote to select content and shows from the AppleTV device’s menu.
Movies and Music
Your Villa comes equipped with Apple TV and DirecTV so you can easily enjoy movies and music.
The villas are equipped with a SONOS sound system. You can find SONOS on Spotify. 1. Connect to the wifi network in the villa. 2. Press the audio button on Spotify. 3. Select your villa’s SONOS.

The Pool
Our pool is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round. Please note that the pool is not heated. Additionally, there is a jacuzzi to the west of the pool. Towels are available at the pool.
Wake-Up Service
If you’d like a wake-up call, the front desk will be happy to assist you. We can’t help but recommend rising early to witness the breathtaking sunrises over the Uco Valley—they’re truly worth it.
HOUSEKEEPING
Your villa will be serviced daily, and we’ll make every effort to schedule housekeeping at the time most convenient for you. To ensure a good night’s rest, a turndown service is provided.
Hypoallergenic pillows, blankets, and additional amenities are available upon request.
If you would prefer not to have housekeeping, simply hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the outside door handle to let us know you do not wish to be interrupted.
Laundry
Laundry service is available. You’ll find a laundry bag and form with costs for each item in your closet—either in the bathroom or hallway closet, depending on the villa layout. Please fill out the form and leave the bag in plain sight for collection.
SAFETY AND SECURITY
To ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, a 24-hour security team is always on-site. If you have any concerns or see anything suspicious, please call the front desk.
Emergency Information
In case of an emergency, please contact the front desk by dialing 0.
Safe
Each villa is equipped with a safe to securely store your valuables. Please follow the instructions on the front of the safe to set your personal security code. Kindly note that the resort cannot be held responsible for valuables or money left in an unlocked safe, or outside the safe, including items in guest rooms or public areas.
Fire Safety
To ensure your safety, each villa is equipped with smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher, which is located either in a closet next to the front door or next to the front door.
Strong Winds – Zonda
The ‘Zonda’ is a regional wind characterized by its strength, warmth, and dryness, and it is often accompanied by dust. These winds can reach as high as 75 mph. While generally harmless, it can sometimes cause disruptions. During periods of intense winds, we recommend remaining indoors until conditions settle. Be sure to close all doors and windows and secure any valuable or fragile items.
SIETE FUEGOS BY FRANCIS MALLMANN
Our restaurant, Siete Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, is famous for its unique approach to open-flame cooking, an iconic technique that masterfully blends tradition and creativity. Inspired by the customs of Argentine gauchos and European immigrants, the menu offers an unparalleled culinary experience, where local ingredients are transformed into dishes bursting with flavor and authenticity, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
Days and Hours of Operation
Open from Monday to Sunday, including holidays.
- Breakfast: served from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. Earlier breakfasts are available upon request. Please contact the front desk for further details.
- Lunch: served from 12:30 pm to 3.00 pm.
- Dinner: served from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm.
- The Bar: open from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am, serving handcrafted cocktails, craft beers, and freshly made seasonal fruit juices.
- Pool Bar: open from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. It is a relaxing spot that offers fun, refreshing drinks besides sandwiches and salads.
- In-Villa Dining: served from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. Our villas provide exceptional comfort and luxury, designed for a stay you may not want to leave. For an elevated experience, our team can arrange for your private breakfast, lunch or dinner with cuisine from Siete Fuegos by Francis Mallmann, served right in your villa.

Service Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your spa reservation without penalty up to five hours before your scheduled appointment. Please note that cancellations made within five hours of the appointment time will incur a charge equal to 50% of the treatment price.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS
We value your commitment to preserving natural resources and invite you to join us in our sustainability efforts. To reuse your towels, simply hang them on the towel racks, signaling to our cleaning team that fresh towels are not required. If needed, our staff will replace towels every two days. Bed linens are refreshed every three days during your stay to ensure comfort while minimizing environmental impact.
THE VINES RESORT & SPA POLICIES
Check-Out
Check-out is at 12:00 noon; however, we understand that flight schedules may vary. If you require a later departure, please inform the front desk, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.
Additional Guests
An additional fee of $150 per person, per night (plus taxes), applies to guests aged 12 and older. Please note that some villas may not have the capacity to accommodate extra guests.
Prepayment, Deposit, and Cancellation Policy
Prepayment Policy
To confirm your reservation, full prepayment of the total accommodation cost for each Villa is required 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
For confirmed reservations, the following cancellation and no-show policies apply:
- Cancellations made 30 or more days before check-in can be made without any charges.
- Cancellations made between 29 and 15 days before check-in will incur a penalty of 50% of the total estimated stay.
- Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival, including no-shows, will incur a penalty of 100% of the total estimated stay.
Please note that late cancellation fees are based on the total estimated stay, are non-refundable, and cannot be applied as credit for future bookings.
Dress Code
At The Vines Resort & Spa, we invite guests to adopt an “elegant casual” style. We kindly ask that blouses, beach wraps, and appropriate footwear be worn at all times while inside the main resort building.
Pet Policy
While we adore animals, we maintain a “no pets” policy for our guests. Service animals, however, are welcome.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside villas and resort buildings. Violations of this policy will result in a $1,000 charge, in addition to any costs associated with damage or the replacement of Villa furnishings. For your convenience, we offer a designated smoking area equipped with ashtrays.
